Family law solicitor Laura Brown

Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2003. She joined KMJ in October 2015 after working for nearly 9 years in a leading West End firm.

After a brief career break, Laura has returned to KMJ as Office Manager to ensure the efficient running of the firm so that it stays ahead of client’s needs as they grow and evolve. She has responsibility for developing and implementing internal office procedures and manuals in accordance with guidelines, compliance, Lexcel and SRA regulations, HR matters and liaising between Accounts and the solicitors and clients. Laura applies her legal knowledge and expertise gained over the last 17 years to ensure these objectives are met and clients are well served by the firm both legally and operationally.

Before becoming Office Manager, Laura specialised in all aspects of family law, authored articles published in New Law Journal, Private Client Business, Butterworths Law Leader, Trusts and Estates Law and Tax Journal and won awards and recognition with City Wealth leaders list, Chambers UK, Legal 500 and Power Women.

Clayton spent five years working in family law with a firm in Australia before moving to the UK in 1999. He deals with all aspects of family law, specialising in all family matters, offshore trusts, company structures, international law, prenuptial agreements, high net worth cases and cohabitation law.
